Global Fireproof Solutions’ proprietary application method was developed around chemical penetrant technology. Unlike other chemicals and coatings, our application method is designed to penetrate wood fibers without the use of a pressure process, and without the need for kiln drying.
We offer fire retardant applications on all varieties of soft wood, exotic woods, and all species commonly used in construction. These applications can be performed quickly; typical turn times are under 5 business days and rush processing is available.

When applied as described in CCRR-1044, FX Lumber Guard and FX Lumber Guard XT reduce the flame spread and smoke development classifications of plywood, OSB, and dimensional lumber to meet the requirements of the International Building Code.
